Small cosy resort town, situated 56 km from Benidorm. Experts from the World Health Organization have determined that Javea has the most favorable and the healthiest climate in the world. The sea during the peak season warms up to 27 degrees, and here you can meet the first dawn in Spain, since Javea is located on Cape Cabo de Nao, which is the easternmost point in the country, so the locals call Javea “the dawn” of Spain.
This quiet resort town actually has a very rich past: pirate attacks in the 14th century, ship hijackings, civil wars. Rich in its history, there is so much to see & the ancient buildings are well preserved. One of them is the church of St. Bartholomew of the 16th century.
