DENIA
Turistic resort and very picturesque town, 59 km from Benidorm. The historical part of Denia is a castle from the 11th century, there are also towers and an archaeological museum, by the way, with very ancient exhibits, a monastery and an 18th century church, made with unusual elements of architecture.
In the city center you can meet knights and warriors, but don't be afraid, it's only on local celebrations, and they happen often in Denia, very colorful and fun! The spirit of the Romans, Phoenicians, Greeks and Moors does not leave Denia. By the way, it was the Romans who built the temple of the goddess Diana here, which was reflected in the name of the city.
The modern part of Denia is simply magnificent: there is a very important port that connects Dénia with the Balearic Islands, beautiful buildings, traditional shops and restaurants, among ancient green trees. Denia is considered the gastronomic capital of the coast. Every day except Sunday, freshly caught fish and seafood is delivered to restaurants. On Mondays many restaurants are closed, so for a feast with traditional Spanish food, it is better to choose a different day of the week. Denia is also famous for the best raisins in the world, not only in Spain, they are grown and dried here.
Enjoy a toy museum, which is over 100 years old, it is interesting not only for children, but also for adults, because we all love to remember our childhood. Visit a 200 year old ice factory open to tourists and of course we recommend going to the mountains: Mount Mongo is a real miracle, you can see many types of flowering orchids, orange orchards, olive groves and many aromatic herbs. This is a real reserve with rich flora and fauna. From the top of numerous trails, enjoy the views of the bay and relax your soul!

Wine Tourism
Spain is famous for wines with its unique flavors and great quality. Wine tourism brings you the opportunity of tasting, consumption or purchase of wine, made in Spain.
What happened to the vine in this region? Are there any wine traditions in the Benidorm area at all? And if there is, then what does it taste like, what is aroma and color, of the wine of the beautiful Costa Blanca region? We will visit local wineries, meet interesting people, buy the best wine from our area and, of course, taste the most famous wines at the winery, enjoying amazing views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. And believe me, you will be pleasantly surprised and delighted.
Most visits to the wineries take place at or near the site where the wine is produced. Visitors typically learn the history of the winery, walk down the vineyard, inmerse into the stories of harvest and discover unusual facts about authentic Spanish wine, see how the wine is made, and then taste several of the wines with a typical cheese/almond/fruit plate.
